Barb grew up working in the family business – an auto repair shop – and learned the value of hard work, honesty and ingenuity first-hand at a very young age. For fifteen years, she worked in newspaper and magazine publishing with stints in circulation, marketing and advertising management before branching off on her own and founding ADS. The publishing industry was a perfect place to develop strong skills in a wide variety of areas – but it also taught many lessons about being agile, changing with the times and embracing technology.
Over the past five years, Barb returned to college, earning a B.A. in Political Science from UMASS Amherst, ran several successful state and local political campaigns and began developing a client base for ADS. In her spare time she ran for local office, served a four-year term on her local planning and zoning commission and headed up a local political organization.
Barb is passionate about going above and beyond expectations and will never settle for the status quo. She loves to help others grow their organizations and thrives in marketing because of the melding of the creative with the analytical. She focuses on creating strategies to move clients ahead by listening and learning as much as she can about their business.
Barb is a native of Western Massachusetts and recently moved to Avon, CT. She lives with her husband Andy and their two children.

Michelle is the one who makes all the plans come to life on time and on budget. An organizer at heart, Michelle keeps ADS running smoothly and assists in the areas of compliance, bookkeeping and records management. She works with vendors to ensure that all projects are completed at a fair price and on time and manages all ADS projects.
Michelle Harrold grew up in Indiana and received her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University. She continued her post-graduate studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland before settling in Connecticut. Michelle worked for Fiserv Inc, as a Tape Librarian, responsible for organizing and storing confidential financial information onsite and at offsite facilities. She later worked at Travelers Insurance, first in Quality Assurance and later as a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, she was responsible for working with business and IT partners to evolve business solutions.
Michelle took several years off to raise her family, and to volunteer as an elected member of her local Board of Education. She is now a very valued member of the ADS team.

The journalism bug firmly sunk its teeth in Keith when a deadly tornado struck his hometown back in high school. Armed with a pen and school notebook, he almost single-handedly provided non-stop coverage in the ensuing days for his hometown weekly newspaper.
Four decades later, his career has taken him many places: community newspaper editor, editor of lifestyle magazines, researcher/writer for U.S. News & World Report, About.com and a Latino news site, managing editor for business-to-business publications, and contributor to The Boston Globe, The Hartford Courant, Ladies Home Journal, and numerous other outlets.
Keith proudly states he is an expert in nothing. That doesn’t mean he lacks expertise. He’s written for business, legal, recruiting, and healthcare outlets without an MBA, law or medical degree, or HR certification. He was able to write compelling content for those diverse audiences because he made sure he understood the material. He doesn’t write until he gets it right.
Keith also has experience being involved in and running diverse volunteer organizations, from the New England Motor Press Association to his daughter’s elementary school PTO. He knows giving back works most effectively when it is organized efficiently and correctly.
A semi-professional photographer (think events, not Annie Leibovitz), Keith is a Connecticut native. He lives in West Hartford, CT with his wife Manuela and their two daughters.
MARIE LYONS, CPA

Marie is passionate about helping businesses optimize their accounting systems to make data-driven decisions. She implements workflows to make financial reporting efficient and reliable for ADS clients and ensures financial systems operate smoothly.
Marie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also carries the designation as an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Work mode aside, Marie can be found taking pictures of her husky and spending time outdoors hiking the Northwest Hills of Connecticut with her husband.

Kathryn has a background in writing & publishing, having gotten her BA in English. She quickly pivoted to Social Media and Digital Marketing because writing and creativity go hand-in-hand with the current climate of Social Media Marketing. She has a breadth of experience working with brands and personalities alike, and thrives in the ever-changing digital landscape.
Aside from work, Kathryn likes floral design, music, cooking, playing tennis, and reading. She was born & raised in the Midwest but currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Michelle Loto Buckley

Michelle is the one who makes everything beautiful and transforms ideas into stunning graphics, websites, ads and marketing materials for ADS clients. She knows how to take a story, idea or concept and create visuals that help create a buzz.
Although she has a background in print and honed her skills at a publishing company, she is a whiz when it comes to website design and has created many websites for happy ADS clients. Michelle received her BFA in Graphic Design from UMASS Lowell with a concentration in illustration. While Michelle is an artist, she is a standout as a designer because of her can-do attitude, responsiveness and focus on the client.
