Barb Dimauro
CEO
Strategist. Team Builder. Workaholic.
Barb grew up working in the family business – an auto repair shop – and learned the value of hard work, honesty and ingenuity first-hand at a very young age. For fifteen years, she worked in newspaper and magazine publishing with stints in circulation, marketing and advertising management before branching off on her own and founding ADS. The publishing industry was a perfect place to develop strong skills in a wide variety of areas – but it also taught many lessons about being agile, changing with the times and embracing technology.
Over the past five years, Barb returned to college, earning a B.A. in Political Science from UMASS Amherst, ran several successful state and local political campaigns and began developing a client base for ADS. In her spare time she ran for local office, served a four-year term on her local planning and zoning commission and headed up a local political organization.
Barb is passionate about going above and beyond expectations and will never settle for the status quo. She loves to help others grow their organizations and thrives in marketing because of the melding of the creative with the analytical. She focuses on creating strategies to move clients ahead by listening and learning as much as she can about their business.
Barb is a native of Western Massachusetts and recently moved to Avon, CT. She lives with her husband Andy and their two children.
Gigi Dimauro
Operations Assistant
Organizer. Motivator. Fast Learner.
Barb’s youngest child, Gigi, has always admired her mother’s tireless work ethic. Even as a baby, Barb would read Gigi books about marketing and business. Now an employee at ADS, Gigi supports Barb in all her business adventures. Gigi takes care of the details so that Barb can focus on doing what she loves – growing associations.
Gigi left high school early to start her degree at CT State, and she plans to transfer to the University of New Haven to finish her master’s in forensic science.
KAREN STEVENS
FINANCE
Problem Solver. Analyst. Lover of Puzzles.
Coming from a career as a financial professional in the Treasury Department of Cigna, the global health services company, Karen is well-versed in a wide breadth of systems, data, and financial controls.
She also has extensive experience in all aspects of small business bookkeeping, particularly for non-profit boards and member associations. Her talent is optimizing operational workflows to find the most practical and efficient ways to capture financial transactions. She believes that the core business should drive accounting processes, not the other way around.
Karen lives on Federal Hill in Bristol in a 1910 Craftsman bungalow. Off work hours when not consumed by old house projects she serves on City of Bristol Historic District Commission.
YVETTE MORETTI
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Design. Marketing. Communications.
Yvette, or Yvee as most people know her, earned a BFA from Endicott College with a focus on graphic design. She brings her experience as a senior brand designer and her exceptional organizational skills to ADS. Her love for all things Adobe helps her create engaging designs for websites, social media, newsletters, brochures, logos, booklets, reports, and more. Yvee has worked as a designer in several industries including printing, financial, start-up tech, and most recently in association management.
Always a New Englander, Yvee grew up in Maine, went to school and lived in Boston, and now lives with her husband and two children in Connecticut. Aside from design work she also has a love of interior design, plants, flowers, music and enjoying time with her family and friends.
Michelle Loto Buckley
Design
Magic Maker. Illustrator. WordPress Guru.
Michelle is the one who makes everything beautiful and transforms ideas into stunning graphics, websites, ads and marketing materials for ADS clients. She knows how to take a story, idea or concept and create visuals that help create a buzz.
Although she has a background in print and honed her skills at a publishing company, she is a whiz when it comes to website design and has created many websites for happy ADS clients. Michelle received her BFA in Graphic Design from UMASS Lowell with a concentration in illustration. While Michelle is an artist, she is a standout as a designer because of her can-do attitude, responsiveness and focus on the client.
