“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill

Audience Development Strategies is committed to giving back

with 2.5% of all profits going to The Godfather Fund, which donates to local cancer research charities and The Martha E. Keochareon Memorial Nursing Scholarship at Holyoke Community College.

About The Godfather Fund

The Godfather Fund was created in 2013 to honor Daniel J. Casey of West Springfield, Massachusetts who lost his life to pancreatic cancer. Danny had a profound effect on many lives and is a driving force behind the mission of The Godfather Fund – to help support local cancer charities and education in the medical field.

About The Martha E. Keochareon Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This Holyoke Community College scholarship was founded in memory of Martha E. (Skuse) Keochareon, a native of Holyoke, Massachusetts, who lost her seven-year battle with pancreatic cancer in 2012. Martha was an employee of the local paper mill for many years before going back to school late in life and graduating magna cum laude from HCC. Martha worked as a registered nurse for many years until becoming ill in her early fifties.

While she fought her disease, she took the time to try to give back to her community and her alma mater. You can read her story, which appeared on the front page of The New York Times, and watch a video, here.

In Martha’s memory, this scholarship awards funds to students currently enrolled in a nursing program at HCC with preference given to non-traditional students from the area and those who have volunteered in hospice care.
